The Member Profile and Staff Skills Survey are integral to utilizing the full functionality of nSide. It is important to know who the member is and what skills they have, especially since they will likely be referenced in the emergency operation plan as a whole. Keeping this information up-to-date is very important!

Editing Your Member Profile

  • Once you are logged in, look for the orange menu on the righthand side of your screen.

  • Find the menu option Profile and click on it.

Fill out your information, add a profile picture to personalize your profile, and then click Skills Survey.

Skills Survey

There are two ways to get to the skills survey.

Option 1:

  • While on the edit profile page, click the Skills Survey button in the top right.

Option 2:

  • Click the Skills Survey option from the orange menu of the landing page.

Complete the survey:

  • For applicable skills, click the button that represents the skill and it will turn green to signify the selection. Do this for all relevant skills or add a custom skill that doesn’t exist.

Email Staff Skills Survey (for EOP completion)

To get access to that link you will just need to log in to nSide and click the Assess tab. Select Skills-Survey Management and in the top right there is a link that you can email out to your faculty and staff.

Digital Staff Skills Survey:

Once those are completed you should start seeing them populate in the above location following the same steps.
