One of the most powerful components of nSide is the ability to add an infinite amount of descriptions and attachments to features in the map. For visualization purposes, many members prefer to have certain features labeled. In the case of rooms of a building, labeling the proper name is the most common use. However, members can also add other details that are pertinent.
For instance, Facility Managers or other Administrators might want to include information related to dimensions or area in room. This is helpful because those measurements can be taken on site and they can be used for space planning or other management purposes. This would provide greater granularity of information about the room and the information can be documented, reviewed and updated.
